Dear Alex, Beware ! I think this may be one of DWP's dirty tricks to catch you out / or poor advice from an undertrained telephone clerk. I experienced the same assurances made to my advocate as I also have a vulnerable marker. I was far too ill to even attempt to fill in the form. Imagine my shock months later to receive an impossible appointment for a F2F appointment 50 miles away at very short notice. Had to go through a horrendous shambles with a home visit refused, the GP then had to urgently fax a robust letter to Maximus re substantial risk. I was very lucky he was able to do this for me. I would fill in the ESA50 as promptly as you can, when you can get help to do it carefully, giving the reason for lateness as 'waiting for benefits advice & support' as you have a vulnerable marker. Best wishes Terrified
