ESA

Awarded esa January 2018 in support group contribution based. Had a phone call asking what I did with my money between 2016/2017 can they ask this as I was working at the time and not claiming any benifits

It's an unusual request as what you earned or had as savings prior to your claiming ESA(CB) would not affect your ESA, its a discussion to have with them but ultimately it will probably be easier to just supply the information.
