Fit notes

Hi guys

Can you tell me if you only need a fit note at the appeal stage and not at the mandatory reconsideration stage?
Also does this only apply if you are deem capable of work or if you are placed in the work capability group.

You don't need to supply Fit Notes for either but if you do during the appeal phase then you can be paid the ESA Assessment rate, this is only relevant if you are appealing a Fit for Work Decision.
