ESA stopped being paid after 5th April without warning or notification.
There have been no letters from DWP about this, no call for medical or any correspondence. Letters should be going to C/O address due to homelessness.
If DWP made decision to stop benefits and sent a letter but letter got lost (C/O address is in shared house so maybe not as reliable as thought or maybe DWP didn’t send anything) and its over a month since a possible decision, does that mean a Mandatory Reconsideration can’t be made, due to missing 1 month deadline?
Disabled person can’t call DWP due to disability so, unfortunately, writing is the only method of communication which i fear is slow and life will difficult without income.
They should find someone to ring on their behalf, writing will simply elongate the process.
They can make a Late MR request outside of the normal one month citing a failure to have received the Decision Letter, if there actually is one, their benefit may have been suspended.
