Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is
Welcome to Benefits and Work You need to try and prod your GP in the direction that you want rather than leading them.
First of all, is your GP willing to support you at all? I'm afraid many GPs are not willing to provide support for benefit claims.
If they are willing to help, then I would ask them what would be the best way for you to inform them of your problems, some things they might think about;
- a Q&A session with you where they ask you about your problems.
- you provide a list of the ESA activities and ask them to rate you on each.
- you give them a copy of your ESA50.
What you do need to be careful of is putting words in their mouth as this can undermine any report or letter that they might produce.
