Universal credit & scottish carers supplement

Hi I was hoping for a little advice again on the dreaded U.C. I am on the rollercoaster ride of Universal credit and my latest query is regarding the Scottish carers supplement that is due next month in June, I was wondering if you could tell me if U.C will regard this payment as income and deduct it from my monthly payment of U.C like they do with carers allowance? I did ask U.C this question a few months ago but er not really too trusting of U.C information lol.

The payment will not be taken off Universal Credit.

I second that. I didn't even know this existed until just now.
Giving them a ring tomorrow about this and finding out what else might be available using the freefone info number on the link.
