DLA payment stopped 5 days after PIP invite letter

Hi there, my mother received DLA to Pip invite letter on 22/5/19, dated 15/5/19. She rang to claim PIP pack etc on 23/5/19, DLA payment due in on 20/5/19 but not paid! Can they stop DLA whilst you are applying for Pip? Thanks

If she made the call well within the required timescales which your post suggests then there should be no interruption to her DLA payments, she needs to ring the DWP office dealing with her DLA claim for an update.

Thanks, she has called them and they had stopped it, unbelievable. Now being paid from next week , thanks again.
