Hi Dawn
PIP 2 assessment is same as PIP assessment, they are looking to see if your health has imporoved or got worse since you were last assessed, gather as much supporting evidence as you can.
Have a look at our members only guides 'Personal Independence Payment' and 'Forum FAQ'

Thankyou Gary.
I haven't been asked for any more evidence.
They had all I had to offer before I got all my paperwork together to go to a tribunal which I won in 2017.
I have nothing new that I can possibly say or give as my arthritis in ,back, neck ,knees, hips, hypermobility, hypersensitivity have got and will get worse, they don't get any better and all I can do is take the normal over the counter tablets, only other thing I have got is a letter from doctor confirming newly diagnosed PTSD which I have had for years!!

Hi Dawn
Is it a home assessment or do you have to travel? if you have to travel will you be taking extra medication to help you cope, if you do let the HCP know, remember everything is either black or white, there are no grey areas, what do I mean by that, if they ask you if you can do something and you say sometimes then that will be taken as yes, so you need to ask yourself can I do this task repeatedly if the answer is no then you answer no. Remember you have to be truthful and if you cannot do anything asked of you then say so.

Good luck, let us know how you get on.

Hi Dawn,
I'm not an expert - this is based on also having gone through (& won) PIP tribunal myself. The tribunal letter explained why they had changed the scores for changed descriptors & this could be useful evidence for this time plus explain why the 'grey' version (as Gary says)was thought relevant for you? Also, from what I've been told, their assessment is only based on what evidence is submitted with the form this time, in which case they won't have seen your 2017 evidence and could worth taking copies of that along too.

Good Luck.

Thanks a lot snowy,already done.
They said on the second form to send any evidence you already had even if,doctors letters and the like, had already been given in previously, obviously it was so I have just sent all of that but I have new evidence of newly diagnosed PTSD so that will be taken along.
:) Thanks again.
