I had both my PIP & ESA face to face assessments within 4 days of each other. I am kind of drained now, both assessments very similar asking almost same questions. I am sure they were using info from the PIP interview in the ESA interview. Had been dreading it ever since I got the letters. I showed evidence of appointments from mental health navigator, neuropsychiatrist, acute mental health liaison team, evidence of brain injury and how it affects my mental health, evidence of CBT thought record sheets, I don't really feel that confident and I imagine I will be magically fit for work but I gave as much as I could think of not leaving just yes or no answers. Now I will wait and see.
The PIP and ESA departments are separate I would not expect one to know that the other was assessing you.
You should be able to request a copy of the PIP assessment report by contacting the DWP office dealing with your claim, the ESA report will not be released until a Decision is made.
