ESA 50 whilst in support group Again was created by Optimist?
Hello all,

my apologies if this has been asked before. I have been in the ESA Support Group also receiving minimum P.i.P since 2015. I have got to send another ESA 50 to them by June 17th. First should I be receiving this when in support group? I though rechecks were not every year and that support group people were up to three years between reassessments. I am unable to work due to mental health and degenerative physical health problems. Second I have been going through a bad flare of psoriatic arthritis and filling the form is impossible at the moment (cannot get to CAB). I have no-one to help me fill this in. Should I check with DWP if this ESA 50 was erroneously sent? {a Couple of months ago they sent a letter confirming benefits for the year} And can I ask DWP for an extension to send the ESA 50 in considering my circumstances? Thank you for any answers/advice.

I'm afraid being in the Support Group does not exempt you from further assessment, you need to complete this form in detail as if it is a new claim and submit evidence as you can, even if it has been submitted before.

Please make use of our ESA Claim guides to help you complete the form and if you have further questions then please reply to this post and we will do our best to help.
