Have my f 2 f for PIP2 ( taken 12 weeks , live mid south England ) Requested home visit due to be kept waiting too long in waiting room last time ( GP supporting letter ), instead ignored and have to travel 2 miles to assessment centre , but given 9 am appointment 1st August. So hope first to go in with no waiting + have to lie down on couch as soon as I get in for duration of assessment ( spend 80 % lead on sofa every day ). I was successful getting a Blue Badge in April this year : is it in my favour to tell the assessor of Blue Badge ( didn’t have to appeal for it ) DLA to pip claim and have been getting DLA low rate care and nothing for mobility for past few years, ( but RA has definitely gotten worse over past 3 years ) I’m taking friend with me - as poor concentration and memory Will the assessor have my pip 2 claim form in my presence ? Is it worth taking along my copy ? Many Thanks, J.
It's up to you whether you tell the assessor about the blue badge, but be aware that it will probably lead to a raft of questions about your ability to drive, grip things and walk. (These may all come up anyway).
The assessor will have a copy of your form, but I would take a copy with you anyway. You might want to refer to something yourself.
