Hi everybody I won my tribunal after 10months wait having been awarded 0 points on assessment now got 10 points living and 4points mobility now my partner used to get carers allowance but was suspended in oct 18 due to my pip being stopped is she entitled to back dated pay from oct18 as she hasn't claimed anything till then was told would be ok but not so sure any advice thanks

Hi Tubbymal

Congratulations on winning your award.

It usually takes the DWP 5-8 weeks to process the results of a Tribunal, I would give them a call to make sure that they have received the Decision Notice.

As soon as the DWP confirm payment of your new PIP award your wife can make a new claim for Carers Allowance, backdating the claim to when the new award of PIP started.
