I've just had my F2F and though I was dreading it I could not have imagined how absolutely horrendous the assessor would be and should never have claimed had I known. The only maybe good thing about it was that the assessor kept telling me we had 45 mins, not allowing me to speak etc etc etc, and was gone in around that time. Am in floods of tears.

Had my PIP f2f 2 weeks ago - assessor was physiotherapist, didn’t introduce herself. Offish first half of 45 minutes, but rushed me through out, not allowing me to complete answering ( my friend felt the same and warned the next claimant waiting outside ) Rang for copy of report 10 points for activities in home ; nothing for mobility ( yet was granted a Blue Badge April this year , due to restrictive walking + frequently having to sit down, due to pain , fatigue and breathlessness. J.

Thank you very much. Sorry, in my upset forgot to mention it was for PIP. Not up to doing much at the mo and body seizing up from the physical tests I did (agreed to tho told her I'd have probs later). Stll very upset and shall try to do something to relax a bit.

Those of us who have had a horrid assessment should write to Franck Field MP who heads a DWP select committee. He is a genuine man who fights for people's rights. The select committee have been looking at people's experience of PIP assessments and I'm sure Mr Field would be only too keen to hear the true story and extent of he problem.
