I know the answer to this will be varied but I was just wondering if anyone could give me ANY idea of how long it will be before I hear anything now I've sent off my dreaded PIP application form after having been on DLA for years? Thanks

Hi aejo2

It does vary. Currently about 6 - 14 days, but for some people, it has been longer.

Is that 6-14 days before they've recieved it I'm guessing? What about until I get any sort of outcome please?

Hi aej02

6 - 14 days before you hear from them about an assessment. I can't tell you how long before an outcome because it depends how soon you get an assessment date. You tend to get a decision 10 - 14 days after the assessment, but times can vary depending on where you live.

Hi, two weeks ago my wife phoned to say I would be applying to transit from DLA to PIP. They said they would send a form but if we didn't receive it within a couple of weeks to phone them back. What should I do? Just wait or contact them?

Thanks

The clock is already ticking on your completing and returning the form so if you have not received then you need to contact the DWP as a matter or urgency.
