Sick note

Can someone please advise, a family member temporarily out of work and on jobseekers, having heart tests, put a sick note in at job centre and been told he still has to sign on, surely that's not right??

Are you sure that they are claiming JSA, this hasn't been available for new claims since the beginning of the year?

What does the Fit Note say? It may have advised restricted activity and not an inability to work.
