DLA to PIP long wait for assessment decision

Claim now stopped by phone and confirmed with letter just sent off. At least I will still get my OAP will start new claim at end of the month. May be better luck next time.

You mention that you are receiving your OAP, if you have reached State Retirement Age then you cannot make a new claim for PIP only Attendance Allowance which does not include a Mobility component.
