PIP Award Review was created by purple16
Received Award Review, I will fill out form, doctor has filled out relevant sections I asked her to fill in and consultant has done the same in letter from along with physiotherapist current report. Is this enough evidence for review. Also do you have to have another f2f assessment or will they use information sent only? This is my first review and I want to make sure I have best chance of getting my award renewed, at the same rate at least. What is the current time frame of sending form back and decision being made, my review date is April 2020? Thank you

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi purple16
It sounds as if you have sent everything necessary to give them an up-to-date picture of your current health. I'm afraid it is possible to say whether or not you will have another f2f - a lot of people do. It is also not easy to be certain on how long you will have to wait for a decision because there seem to be wild variations around the country. Some have heard in as little as 4 weeks and some as many as 16.

Regarding special diet under managing therapy, which decipher would apply and how many points. I already get 1 point for using a dosset box but a dietician prescribes vitamins and minerals for a theraputic diet, iron supplements, calcium and vitamin d, b12 injections, diet that is both wheat free due to IBS and on medication following procedure by consultant and all food and medication must be lactose free following surgery. Also what to follow when having an attack of pancreatitis. All above for life, what should I expect point wise. Will 1 point still apply or more now for the dietician foods and meds etc?

Hi Purple16
It is impossible for us to say what you may or may not score for dietary condition, because it is all about how you manage it.
When you have an attack of pancreatitis you need to state how often and then how they affect your daily living against the specific criteria.
