Hi , I am due to have another f/f assessment as I contacted dwp to inform that my conditions had worsened due to a recent bad stroke , I had seen on their site (pip) that under the law you have to inform them of any changes , si I did and now I find that I have had to do a new application and have an assessment ???? I am 69 ,my last pip decision at a tribunal runs out next year so I don't really understand whats going on . they rfused mobility and gave me 8 points at tribunal and standard for care so I am hoping to achieve full care and full mobility , my concern is from start to now I am totally exhausted with all the rules etc and my ankiety levels are off the roof , I have numerous long term illness and disabiolities and now to top it all this latest stroke and major vascular surgery … where will all this ever end ,
???? I obey the laws and rules of dwp and end up worse off all the time ???? any help would really be appreciated . thanks Mozz

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

I'm sorry but this is standard, having reported a Change of Circumstances the DWP will initiate a full review of your claim and the new Decision that will result will supersede your current award whatever the result might be.

More bad news I'm afraid, as you are now past State Retirement Age your Mobility component cannot be increased even if you meet the criteria all they can do is confirm your current Standard award.

Have you looked at our PIP Claim guide for assistance with completing the form?
