ESA to PIP application extension was created by Dream
Hi
Is it normal to get a letter from the DWP to say that the date to return your PIP application form has been extended by another 2 weeks? My form does not need to be in until the 19th of October it has now been extended until the 2nd of November 2019?

It's not normal but it's not unusual, you must have been classed as being at risk of not returning the form on time when you made the call to start your claim.

Hi Dream
I spoke to DWP last week to get an extension and was informed that they are doing it automatically due to issues with their post. They actually gave us a 4 week extension instead of the usual 2 week extension.
