How long have you all waited for a decision ?

I know it says up to 6 weeks for a decision but I just wondered if that's the norm or have some people heard back quicker? Waiting is awful! I know each case will be different, just wondered on average how long others on here have waited after their medical f2f ?

I don't know if this is going to help or make things worse, but I got notification of my decision in about 3 weeks from the date of my F2F. And not from DWP PIP, either - first indications of the award came via DWP ESA who told me that because of my award I'd get an increase on my ESA, I then waited another week and still had heard nothing, but then I got letters from DWP ESA, my local council about my HB and CT, and still I hadn't had the official letter - that came 2 days after I got the other letters.

I don't know whether there is any rhyme or reason to who gets an early decision and who gets to wait and wait and wait, either.

And yes, I know the waiting is awful - I spent those 3 weeks gearing myself up to start the appeals process because I was convinced I would be turned down first time round.

Thank you both, yes the waiting is dreadful! Will I, won't I, will I have to appeal? Etc . I am probably being a bit impatient but I just want to know , it has only been a week and a half haha.

Yes very! I'm being very impatient I suppose though. It's only been just under two weeks.
