PIP form lost by DWP was created by Christine
My sister sent in her PIP form over 6 weeks ago and now has received a letter saying that her DLA has stopped. What can she do?

Did they use a tracked post and have proof of delivery?

If they do not have proof of delivery did they get a certificate of posting?

They can request a Mandatory Reconsideration of the Decision but unless they can show that the DWP received the form they are going to struggle to overturn it.

They should make a new claim for PIP immediately, if they do overturn the Decision then the two claims will be merged and if it is not then they will have minimised the time lost.

They should include a copy of this with their MR request.

The DWP didn't receive the form and that is why her benefit has stopped.

Yes, I understand that. They need to show that they sent it and it is not their fault that it was not received.
