Hello everyone

My name is Emma I'm a 29 year old stay at home mum
I have fibromyalgia anxiety and depression, H.S, contact dermatitis AND also have a unstable sacrum joint after the birth of my son I'm currently getting looked into for other autoimmune illnesses but waiting on blood test results.

I have my appeal on the 17th December after losing mandatory reconsideration and losing my f2f assessment because of the pack of lies the ha gave to the dwp all lies and even added in extra bits too I attended the f2f in a wheel chair I got wawarded 8 points for DA and 10 potns for MA. I haven't ever been to a appeal before I want to know what to expect and what extra info I can take with me I've already submitted but they have twice been lost in post so I'm just taking with me to appeal.

Anything will help thanks

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

I'm afraid you cannot just turn up with your papers for the appeal they must be with the Tribunal Service no later than two weeks before the hearing, if they aren't then you risk your hearing being adjourned so that they can be circulated to all parties.

The following is a staged video of an ESA appeal which should give you some idea od how things are done, the major difference, apart from the questions is that PIP panel's have three members, a lay member with experience of disability issues being included.

Have you looked at our PIP guides for the criteria that you will need to show that you meet?
