I am awaiting a home visit for esa assessment for my depression and anxiety. I have read some of the example questions and have worried that some will count against me. I have a computer that I use every now and then to do games, will this be used against my claim? Also I have a pet cat will this be used as evidence stopping my claim?
These things can be used to imply other things so you need to make sure that you explain your problems in depth, for example; feeding your cat can suggest that you would have the motivation to feed yourself but I know of someone who has no problem doing this for the cat but still struggles to do so for themselves, their reasoning is that the cat is dependant on them but they view themselves as worthless and not worth the effort of feeding themselves.
