9 weeks since f2f PIP was created by Carly
Anyone else had this delay?
Initially had a text the following day saying the DWP had my assessment report and they would be in touch. Then about a month ago a standard "we are working on your claim" letter. Now it's 9 weeks today so I I contacted the independent assessment company that did my assessment and they emailed back to say they have no news yet and to call DWP. Tried to get through for two hours yesterday then gave up!
Are they very busy??

Hi Carly
There is no official word of a delay from the DWP, but the length of time it's taking to process the claims after the face to face is varying considerably. I'm afraid, all you can do is keep calling until you get through and find out the current status of your claim.

This is my 8. Week after f2f, just contacted DWPand they put me true Case Manager and she said willcontact Planned interventional Team to ask them .....Just in case I insisted to receive right away the Report from my f2f Assessment. Should also say that the renewal papers came as earlier as 6 months before actual date ...,so cannot say they are so busy,. But delay the documents purposely
