ESA are asking 4 questions, relating to a partner and any savings.This is to determine if between 2015-2019 I could have been entitled to ESA (income related ) on top of my (contributory ) ESA? I was not entitled when I made the claim then and I am still not entitled now. I have to return one page stating this by a specific date. Just thought it a bit odd when we will soon have to apply for UC.
We have had a number of enquiries like yours, there was a change in the regulations due to a legal challenge and a number of claimants have had a winfall, there has also been quite a few where it has made no difference.
It will be a while before everyone has to go on UC, they are still only in Harrogate, I have not heard when it will be rolled out across the rest of the UK.
