Hi I was awarded p I p in August this year with a review in 2022 .I was then told that pensioners would get a light touch review after 10 years,is there any truth in this as I will be 70 in 2022 and was 67 when doing the assessment.

The DWP are slowly contacting all pensioners on PIP about a light-touch review, but when this will be for you I cannot say, especially when you have recently got an award.

Hi I am expecting to hear about my review in may 6 months before my award runs out. I am 70 years old does that mean they will give me an ongoing award. My award at the moment was for 5 years

The DWP has not published their guidance on this so I would expect you will receive an On-Going award bur we cannot guarantee it.
