PIP assessment & Mandatory reconsideration was created by Lorraine
I have recently got the result of my PIP assessment despite being indefinite award for higher rate components on DLA, the assessor awarded me zero points, it seems my degenerative spine, polymyalgia rheumatica, & mental health have miraculously healed. I requested Mandatory reconsideration & was told it would take about 10 weeks I advised I was completing the form and would send in, I was waiting for information to send with the form but sent it in advising them of the info I was waiting for. I got a letter the day after I posted the form (3weeks), the MR result was again zero having called DWP they advised they had my form and would look at it again. I have sent the information that completed the form. I have also request a tribunal appointment in case they again award me zero points. I have to return my car by 26th January. Will advise how I get on. Thanks for letting me rant.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Lorraine
I'm sorry you are having to do this. Just one suggestion, by Monday MPs, should be working normally again. It might be worth getting in touch with your local MP back up your case if you can.

Thanks for that unfortunately my Tory MP will do nothing, I have already been in touch over a couple of things and he just leaves it to his secretary to fob me off. So wouldnt hold my breath if asking him for help.
