ESA health assessment AGAIN was created by Larry88
I have recently received the dreaded pink ESA form. Since I've received it I've felt nothing but stress and anxiety. The last time I got called up, they took my ESA away and I had to take it to tribunal which I won (placed in the wrong group however).
I have endometriosis, PCOS, anxiety and depression. I have problems with my bowels and my bladder thanks to the endo. I have recently found out that my uterus is stuck to my bladder with adhesions. I suffer badly from the endometriosis and i have more bad days than good. I am often left bed bound and crippled as the pain affects my legs, lower back etc. My health has got worse and it's showing no signs of improvement. I have a life long illness which has no cure and that will just progress.
The form appears to have changed - the questions are like catch 22. I know that I should fill the form out as if I am having one of my worst cays, but I am still worried they will twist things like they did before. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I feel stuck with it this time around.
I have hospital letters and a letter from my GP which I will send in. Many thanks

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is
Welcome to Benefits and Work
In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ
Any changes to the ESA50 are cosmetic only, there have been no changes to the Descriptors or the Regulations since 2013 although there have been some changes to the DWP guidance.
I cannot recommend that you complete the form based on your worst day only, many recent benefit fraud cases have been won because the claimant provided an incomplete view of their issues.
You need to explain your problems in broader terms, your worst, on average, at your best, it may be that even at your best you meet the criteria and for each to detail the time that you are affected in the way.
Have a look at our ESA/UC Claim guide on the following link and if you have any specific questions then come back to the forum.

Hi Larry
I'm sorry you are having a hard time with your health and the added burden of this form. I found breaking up the form filling into hour-long sessions helpful, some were even less than that on days when my ms fatigue was particularly troublesome. Its just a matter of plodding on and getting your evidence together.

I am very surprised as it was actually somebody from the job centre who advised me to fill it out based on my bad days. But I did think that cannot be right and you have just confirmed it for me.
Thank you for the advice, I will fill it out as best as I can. I am hoping that my hospital and GP letters will help.

Thank you Becky. I just find it quite over whelming, especially after what happened the last time I was called up. I think the bad experience has just put me off.
