I have a few questions about my PIP claim, please. I had my assessment about two weeks ago and telephoned IAS to see if my medical report was done and was told it was being audited. I would like to ask some questions from your knowledge and experience.
What does audit mean for example is there a problem with my case? How long is the audit process approx? Is the audit done by DWP or IAS?
I am just a bit concerned as my claim is due to run out in February as this was a renewal.
An audit does not mean there is anything wrong with your claim. There are a number of claims that are audited as an internal process to check the process is being carried out correctly. You are just one of the people who has been chosen. I can't tell you how long it will take, but if you haven't heard by the first week in January - phone again just to remind them that your claim is due to run out in February.
