Hi what I meant was I complained about my pip assessor and I mentioned that they just took her word and no other evidence to make a decision.. And I said she had not even put one of my conditions in the report that we talked at length about but he said they will know about it because before an assessment can take place the assessment center asks my doctors for medical and medication records and that the original assessment could not have gone ahead without these, but my doctors say nothing has been asked for, is the guy right or is he blowing smoke?

Hi Rince2028

Unfortunately he is blowing smoke as you put it, we do not hear from many claimants that their doctors were contacted prior to their assessment, if they were then I suspect that quite a number of MR and appeals would not be required.

Thank you so much for your fast replies, this forum has been fantastic, so I guess it's on with my appeal, I have contacted welfare rights who have been a great help with my past 2 appeals over 13 years, every time. I have put in for something with dwp I have had to win on appeal, so a big thanks to everyone here who have been a tremendous help
