ESA reassessment after carers review!!

Hi All
My husband received a letter to attend interview about his carers allowance on Christmas Eve..we attended last month and all was ok. He had done some work but was within the allowance. However we had moved house 3 weeks previously and not yet changed address, he changed it online for my husband and told me to change it with DWP as soon as possible.
I received a white envelope this week to my new address for an esa assessment coincidence? I think not..as I still haven't changed my address. Just wanted some breathing space as the move has affected my health as you would imagine.
I have been lucky as I was moved from IB to support group without medical in 2013 and nothing since..blessed I know
I was transferred from DLA to PIP last year after medical in May.
Is all the evidence and GP letter still valid for ESA reassessment?
I had letters of support written by family members for PIP would they be relevant?
I used the guides kindly provided here which along with the medical kept me on high rate mobility and low care.
Does the white envelope mean they are going to do another medical?
I am also in a different county now as moved to a property on one level.
Any advice or answers however short or long gratefully appreciated.
Thanks chaps

Hi Cline

The evidence you sent in for PIP - will also be useful for your ESA assessment. (You will have to send copies in again). I can't say if the relative's letters are relevant - because I don't know what they said. If they are relevant to the ESA criteria - yes.
I don't think you can surmise anything from the colour of the envelope, and whether they will call you for an assessment or not.

Thanks BIS for your helpful reply.
The letter came from Health Advisory Services as apposed from DWP direct, that was why I was pondering.
Thanks

Once the DWP has decided that they cannot make a Decision on a reassessment (less than 1% of claims) the whole process is handed over to HAAS/Maximus, they will now make a decision on whether a face to face is required or not or whether they can make a recommendation to the DWP without one.

Thank you Gordon
I had an assessment by Atos in July last year.
Do the ESA reviewers see the results of that do you know?
If they do and still can't make a decision then looks like I'm in for another f2f. Just over 6 months after my last one.
I was moved from IB to ESA without one in 2013.
Hey ho
Thanks

Hi CLINE

Maximus now do the ESA assessments instead of Atos.

The decision maker will have access to all your records, they will usually look at the assessors report (ESA 85).

ESA is an indefinite award with scheduled reassessment based on the Prognosis Date completed by the assessor in their report, so your existing ESA award continues in payment until a new Decision is made.

ESA assessments can be anywhere from 3 months to two years for the WRAG and three years for the Support Group, you can find out when you are likely to be reassessed by contacting the DWP office dealing with your claim, the information will be on your computer record, or requesting a copy of the assessment report, (ESA 85).
