Hi Bud
I used the MR template too. Thank you B&W.
An offer might be welcome as I have nothing either.
Good luck

Hi wing
Did you ring DWP to register the MR too? I know we don't have to but (apologies if I've already said this) when I rang on Friday the person I talked to asked if I wanted to do the MR over the phone, I didn't as I'd spent a good few days on my letter. So I asked what was the point in calling to request the MR, he said they put you on the system immediately if you call, rather than wait maybe a week or so for them to get your MR in the post. Also if you give them a phone number you get a text message to say they're looking at your claim again, although there's nothing in that message that says that you've requested an MR.
Good luck with everything!

HI Bud
I haven't rung the DWP yet, just bracing myself to do it! They have had it for two weeks now as I checked with the Rail Mail tracking that they received it in time.
I know I've probably got to put in an appeal. Meantime, I have found on my GP's website, a form to fill in online to request the SARs (subject access request) even though they said I had to visit the surgery and fill out a form. I think sometimes they don't realise what is on their website. So have filled it in requesting relevant medical evidence and it states you can request a representative to pick it up for you at the surgery when it is ready - up to 28 days. The form said they would text when ready.
So that is really useful, I don't know if all the GP's surgeries do this but well worth checking out if they have a website and what they offer. It saves an awful lot of stress going back and forth to the surgery when you can't easily get there.
Good luck Bud with your MR and keep us posted when you get any news. I'll let you all know if I get any too.

Hey wing
I usually just ask for a proof of postage, I'm too mean to pay for RM tracking .... although it's advisable. Also I have help from WR so they post for me too, & at least you have someone else to fight your corner if DWP start playing dirty.
Funnily enough I too was looking online this morning & have ticked various boxes to be able to get test results, & SARS ... I'm all for online rather than F2F contact. I'm expecting the tribunal too & will do mine online if possible.
Thanks wing, I'll report back if I hear anything.

Hi Bud
Just to let you know I got through to the DWP yesterday morning after waiting on hold for over an hour!
They have received my MR and told me it could take anything up to 12 weeks from the date of phone call to process. They have had it for 4 weeks.

Hello wing
At least you now have peace of mind that it's arrived. Whenever I ring I just put the phone on speaker & go about my business, although I'm not planning on ringing any time soon. I'm just going into week 4 now, it seems like ages ago.
Take care!
