After assessment interview how long decision?

Hi, do you know roughly how long you wait for the decision after you have the PIP assessment interview?

You are looking at 4-6 weeks for a Decision although some members have been told 10 weeks or more for this. Whilst waiting you should contact the DWP for a copy of the assessment report, if there are any inaccuracies then there is a small window for you to write to the Decision Maker to correct them, but you will need to be quick.

I had my assessment on 15th November in Leeds and still waiting. Requested copy of report and received that the next day. Just so you know there maybe a wait.

I Had my Assessment on the 22 of November.
It then went in Audit and recieved DWP text saying we have the assesment report as a guide you should you should hear from us within 6 weeks on the 19th of December.
Got the assessment report just before Christmas.
We have all the information letter on the 3rd of January.
And as of today I' am still waiting for Final DWP Decision.
I have been told 6 then 8 and now 10 weeks until a decision so there seems to be quite a backlog. .

Thanks loads. I called and got the report in a few days in the post. I’m going through it and writing back to DWP stating where the report did not mention a lot of things I said.
The assessors was tying as I talked but was not able to type everything I said.
