Hello Gordon
Just need to ask going for appeal not, should I need to mention need to see appeal looked at by an online tribunal panel first or tribunal decided their own. Thanks

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Anees
I am not sure what you are asking, can you be a bit more specific, which benefit are we talking about?
Have a look at our PIP Appeal guide for details of the process, the PIP area also has template letters that you can use to make the request with.

When you have a better idea of the issues with your claim, come back to the forum and we will do our best to help.

Apologize for this.
I am going for PIP appeal and need to know can I request online tribunal only or tribunal will decide how my appeal will be dealt. Because there's no one this time who can join me this time as I want to present myself as you always recommended.

Hi Anees
The COR appeals are only being trialled at the moment with 1,000 appellants in the Midlands, Sutton and North-West Tribunal Panel area. You can read the details in our Appeals Guide.
If you don't live in one of these areas then you would have to choose whether you want to go for a paper-based hearing where you would not have to appear.

Thanks for reply
I just checked my last ESA appeal was heard locally but all the paperwork belong to Sutton Tribunal. Can I write a request in my appeal to be heard COR base only?

Hi Anees
I would contact the Tribunals Service. These areas are only doing a trial - whether it's on offer for everyone is not clear.
