I am thinking of moving house. But staying within my local authority. I am in the esa support group and receive SDP. Will they transfer me onto UC because I will have a change of circumstances. Many thanks.

Unless you live in Harrogate area then the answer is no, you will not have to claim UC.

1) If you just move within the same local authority area and your circumstances stay the same then you can stay on legacy benefits.

2) If you receive a SDP then you are exempt from claiming UC www.gov.uk/government/publications/unive...ility-premium-claims.
