Hello can anyone please help me was created by Nwabisa Tshetsha
Hello can anyone please help me.
I was sent a PIP review form back in January and due to lack of support with the forms as my support went on longterm off sick.I was not able to complete forms on time.
I called them just on time and they made me an extension but through the extension period my son who is severely Autistic got involved with the law and had to go to Court.
I must admit I was beside myself with grief and I struggled and got overwhelmed with everything that was happening to me and my son that I did not chase anyone to help.me with my PIP review form through the court proceess for my son it is very scary situation as I am alone with two boys who are Autistic and depned on my church people to help me by now I have received a leter saying my claim is ceased.
I am going to seek help at CAB in my local area on Monday but I am really struggling..
Can anyone advise me what to do because the trauma of this PIP form hanging on including the PENDING Court date for my son is all too much.
I feel like I want to give it all up because I have no one to help or support me.
Is there any help or advise you can give me please and what to do now.
I need the financial help as I have no job and struggle daily .
What do I need to do.
The man in the PIP dept was kind he said if I can get the form done in the next week and write a cover letter they may re open it.
I asked if he knows where I can go for help he said I can ask anyone to help me with completing the form and send it back by post.
Please help me as I know how to read and write but I struggle with most things I depend on help.
The people who usually are helping are now helping my son with the court case and I cannot ask them for this PIP form support as well.
Please help me if anyone is able to.
My rate was also reduced to standard from enhnaced rate but I left it as I have no fight left in me.
Thank you .

Hi NT
Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is
Welcome to Benefits and Work
In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ
My full name is showing, how can I stop it?
We have a very substantial guide on the PIP process and it will walk you through every step.
You can either download it - it is very large (93 pages)
www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/help-for-claimants/pip
or you can read each section of the same guide online in separate parts.
www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/help-for-claim...pip/pip-claims-guide
Your local CA should be able to help you with your application, you will need to get yourself prepared before you go and gather any supporting documents including medical prescription lists, have a read of our guides, they are well written.
When you have a better idea of the issues with your claim, come back to the forum and we will do our best to help.
