Dla child mandatory reconsideration was created by pol
Long story very short.
Dla turned down for 4 year old boy, autism, epilepsy, severe allergies (dairy, wheat and oral allergy syndrome). One reason for refusal - no evidence of epipen treatment therefore allergy not serious.
Mandatory recon. Further evidence provided, including evidence of epipen use.
Further declined. No mention of allergy or epipen but now says no evidence of assessment or treatment at sleep clinic therefore sleep problems are not unusual for age, they have had report from sleep clinic, epilepsy clinic, autism paediatric team, allergy consultant.
Is the next step tribunal or complaint regarding certain evidence being excluded? Namely sleep clinic report. Many thanks

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Pol
I would do two things. Firstly I would register for an appeal - because that is the next stage, and you can do that online.
I would also put in a formal complaint about information being ignored. This will be dealt with quite separately and will not negatively impact on your appeal. Occasionally the complaint does yield a result - but obviously there are no guarantees.
