I am aware and the facts are still numbers of persons yet to be transferred over off of DLA to PIP, despite having reached current and forth coming and higher State Pension Ages.66 67 68 69 70 71 years of age and nearly age 72 some. (These are person not 65 on 8 4 2013 though have soon following and now above the 66 and State Pensioners, and on DLA )
These older and pensioners as over 66 will due to DWP slowness with transfers have been deprived these person even if they get to appeal as the process is currently taking from invite right through : if they have to go through the whole gamut: processes to Appeal between 1 year and 3 months to 1 year and 6 months. These persons by the Social Security Regs would therefore be disenfranchised from reapplying or appealing as over SPA and 66 plus :as one has to be under 65 to do this, had the dwp been on time to proceed with the transfers, the people would have been able to challenge and re apply. Additionally the regs state that someone has to do the challenge etc if under 65 within a 12 month period, which is not possible her and also the "processes are taking over 12 months for number of these people
The DWP has not yet completed these transfers. Is there anything that can be done?
