Hi,
I know this may sound stupid. Just received letter from DWP stating they have all the information they need to decide if they can award me PIP. Does that mean that my claim is with the decision maker? Since my assessment my consultant furnish me with a really good letter explaining how my condition affects me and the support I need . Any idea how long it will take to here?
Thank you.

Hi Julie

Yes, it does mean your paperwork is with the decision maker. You can still send in a copy of the letter if you want. Send it to the DWP with your National Insurance Number and Name to the office which sent you the original letter, with a covering letter to the 'Decision Maker' explaining what it is.

I cannot reliably tell you how long it might be before you hear because it has been taking long to process. We used to say 4 - 6 weeks, but some members are waiting much longer and upwards of 13 weeks.

Hi Bis,
Thank you. I have sent my letter from the consultant & know they have received it before this letter was sent out.
