Hello and Greetings Hoping everyone is safe and taking care. I applied for PIP for the first time on 7th Jan this year. The PIP form was sent over to me on the 15th Feb. It had a deadline for 2nd March which was met by us. We got a couple of text messages with the acknowledgements. I received a text message last week saying that PIP team will come back to us in 6 weeks time. All of a sudden, I have checked my bank account and there is a back dated payment scheduled in from PIP at enhanced rate my Husband thinks. Should I phone PIP team and ask them for a decision and whether the payment coming in is correct? Please advice. God bless and take care. Best wishes X
If the payment is making you uncomfortable ring and ask (although you may have to hold a long time to get through) or you could leave it a week and wait for the paperwork to be sent to you. If the paperwork doesn't arrive then ring and ask if there has been an error.
