Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could share their experiences on turnaround at present for PIP.
I had my face to face at home just before the lockdown. I was advised by the assessor at the time, they seemed to be running at 4 weeks for a decision. Obviously under the circumstances, I expect this no longer to be the case. I know it also can change area to area but I was wondering if anyone has recently received their decision, and how long it took from the f2f.
Many thanks

Hi Thirty

One member reported last week that they had been told over the phone that it was taking at least nine weeks. Obviously it can vary from area to area.

I had my f2f in January and haven't had a decision letter yet. However I have complained about the f2f 'assessment' to ATOs (IAS) so I'm probably not a good guide.

Who knows?! I had my telephone assessment last Wednesday and was told by DWP today that the process for those already in receipt of DLA was being suspended for 3-6 months so that they could concentrate on new claims. Stay safe.

I received my PIP decision last Saturday. I had my f2f mid January and was told it would be 4-6 weeks for a decision. No...took 3 months. I think the current situation will mean that there will be a big delay in decisions.
