PIP consultation over the phone due to covid19 was created by SD
Hi i am currently on dla indefinite award high rate for care mobility for last 18 years i have had reviews started medium rate then ended up higher rate. Applied for pip as they wrote to me as i moved last year they contacted me a few months bk said they wanted to do home visit next day i said no as i was sick with flu which was actually pneumonia they wrote to come in march however covid 19 then made all assessment be cancelled they now text me and want to do telephone consultation in 2 days i was the one who requested hone visit. I dunno why im not getting the 3 month break is there any tips on dealing with phone consultation i think i may have had covid19 when i refused for them to come i told them i had flu and chest infection shall i tell them that i have a chronic autoimmune condition i have been isolating covid19 or the pneumonia i had has worsen my condition thanks SD

From the reports that we have had on the forum, the telephone assessments are taking around 45-60 minutes.
I would suggest that you write up a bullet list of points that you want to cover and keep it next to the phone, it's also been suggested that you have a glass of water available.
They are going to be asking you questions about your conditions and how they limit your ability to complete the PIP activities.
You should certainly mention any issues that you are having due to the Coronavirus, especially if they are causing you additional problems with the activities but be aware they can only consider issues that have had an impact on your for the last three months and are likely to affect you for the next nine months,
