phone call from assesors was created by ron
hi i missed a call today from no caller id.i was told to expect a call from medical assesors and i suspect it may have been them.
my representative told me to give them his phone number if they called and to only answer easy questions.
do they have to call him or can they refuse?

They won't phone your representative, your rep has no legal authority to act on your behalf during an assessment, they may allow you to dial them in, make sure you know how to do this.
As to your answering the questions, I would be cautious of following your rep's advice in case you are considered as failing to participate.

Hi Ron
Yes - you can make a three way call on your iPhone. (I had never even thought about it until you asked - so I googled three way calls on an iPhone).
However, I then thought I had better see if it actually works and I can report it does.
I tried ringing one person, put them on hold and then phoned another person and merged the calls and we could all hear and speak to each other.
However, I then realised the assessor will be phoning you - not the other way around - so I asked someone to phone me at a certain time. I then made a call to someone (which is the equivalent of your rep and when my phone rang, I answered the other call from a landline (which would be your assessor) and then I merged the calls. It worked a treat and one of the people was the other side of the country from me.
However, if you're going to do this, I suggest you practice it. I was doing it out of curiosity to answer your question and we had a giggle about it - as it was new to all of us and we were pleased with our success. Having a PIP assessment is different, so you need to make sure you can do it easily.
How to set up a three way call on an iPhone
Place a call. (ie ring your rep)
Chat while you wait for the assessor to phone.
Your phone will ring at the appointed time (Assessor)
Accept the assessors call
From the in-call menu - merge the calls and all three of you will hear each other.
Hope this helps. Good luck if you use it.

They should write to you with the date and time of the call.
