So I got my ES continued, it turned out they hadn't sent me an award letter. Who do I contact about my savings and does it affect my benefit entitlement? Not in terms of it being reduced because of them, but could the DWP decide I don't need to be in the full support group?
It won't affect you being in the Support Group but if you have still not notified the DWP about your savings then at the very least you are risking your payments being suspended.
Whilst I would not expect the DWP to pursue you on this basis, the amounts are currently too small, what you are doing is benefit fraud, you are knowingly failing to report a Change of Circumstances.
As previously advised, you need to contact the DWP office dealing with your claim.
