I am already in receipt of a War Pension but thinking of claiming PIP. The PIP is for a condition entirely unrelated to the War pension. When I complete the PIP form do I need to tell them about my War Pension related condition as it still affects me? I am worried that they will reassess the War pension claim if I do mention it and if I don't mention it will they think that the PIP application is a true reflection on my over all health rather than only how the PIP conditions affect me? In summary. Am I at risk of losing my War Pension by claiming PIP? Thank you.
They will only be looking at whether you meet the PIP criteria not whether you are still eligible for your War Pension.
You should mention all of your conditions in the section that asks about this but only those that limit your ability to complete one of the PIP activities in your explanation for that activity.
