Hello, just wanted to let you know I successfully transferred from DLA to PIP with the exact identical money that I was receiving on DLA so the whole point of the exercise? I previoiusly had a life-time award for DLA now its gone down to 3 years with a review possible from the year before so its actually 2 years not 3. Im not at all happy about this. They themselves acknowledge that Im not going to improve so why only the short award? What is the point of wasting money reviewing me again? Or is it just to keep me stressed out, I think that's the point.
Unfortunately, a lot of people had lifetime awards, but they don't exist under PIP. You could always put in for a mandatory reconsideration if you wanted to - to appeal the length of the award. One or two members have been successful in increasing the length, but it's not common.
