Quick question, I am about to put a letter together regarding Mandatory Reconsideration, I have noticed that there is info regarding Assessors and medical reports. I have been turned down for PIP, and I got a few lines by a decision maker as to why. Is this the Medical Report that people are mentioning, if not, when do I get a full report? or do I have to request one? and when?
You need to contact the DWP and ask for a copy of your PIP assessment to be sent to you. (Follow up the request in writing). Normally arrives within a week to ten days. You need this in order to write your Mandatory Reconsideration effectively as it will show you in detail how you were assessed.
