time limit on being in Contributions-based ESA

Hi, I'm in the Support Group for the Contributions-based ESA. I understood that being in the Support Group means that I will be in Contributions-based ESA indefinitely (ie the one year limit before being moved to Income-related won't apply). However, I've just been advised (by a Disability Advice line) that even though I am in the Support Group, there is still a time limit, which is based on my NI contributions, and that at some point (and I'd have to contact the DWP to find out when) my time in Contributions-based will run out and I'll be moved to Income-related ESA.
Is this actually the case? It contradicts all I've read/heard so far....

I'm afraid the person you spoke to is talking rubbish, there is no time limit on how long ESA(CB) can be paid for a claimant in the Support Group.
