Hiya,

I wanted to ask a question. I have been awarded PIP enhanced rate of care and low mobility, I was previously on the highest rate of mobility before. I have used and followed your guidlines to apply for MR. I was wondering since this has been sent & received will I continue to be paid my PIP whilst the MR is in process?

Thanks

Hi RB

Sorry cannot give you a definitive answer. We usually advise claimants to wait until they receive their first payment before putting in a MR. I cannot give you a definite answer as we hear from claimants who have received payments and also from those who have not.

You should know when your next payment is due, although even if you do not receive your payment, it may be down to other reasons, we are living in strange times.

Hi Gary,

I called them they said they’ve received my MR with new evidence and they cannot give me a timeline of when it will be looked at and I will still be paid at the rate awarded.

I received my first payment on the 20th of April I sent off the mandatory reconsideration on the 18th of May.

Thanks Gary
