HCP Guide

Hi everyone/Gordon and friends. It is a good while since I posted anything on the forum, but I do feel this post will create some interest amongst the members. I have been helping someone with their PIP case,as their award was taken from them upon renewal, and I used the guide given here regarding finding fault with the Assessment and the way they do not follow their guidance. I helped compile a detailed letter which included several obvious ways in which the report lacked credibility, but as a result of this, my friend received some quite extraordinary feedback from the Tribunal Service. There was a Directions Notice issued from one of the Judges that states that if there is issue being found with some of the descriptors and the way they have been carried out, then that means that the Tribunal can take it that all descriptors given are also in question and at fault. I am fully aware that a hearing may or may not ringfence any points given by an Assessor (dependant on the sitting Judge), but I just find it quite unsettling that the Tribunal Service so obviously seem to be coming down on the side of the Assessor with these Directions. They also insisted my friend provides information from Google maps on how far she can walk from her home. I am gobsmacked at these Directions, and I have to say that they do appear to be anything rather than independent. Is it me??
